Name the compound precisely

A common name can cover more than one catalog convention. Include the full sequence where it is relevant and distinguish related fragments, acetylated forms and other analogues.

Separate format from identity

Fill size, number of vials and physical form describe your requested configuration. They do not replace the underlying chemical identity. List each requested format as its own line item.

State your documentation requirements

Describe the identity evidence, purity method, content information and safety documentation your institution needs. Leave acceptance decisions to the responsible research and procurement teams.

Record what must be confirmed

Stock availability, delivery conditions, cost and exact material specification need written agreement. Keeping those questions together makes the eventual quote easier to assess.
